Renaissance awards ceremony at Fallsburg
FALLSBURG, NY — Sullivan Renaissance has announced plans to
hold its annual awards ceremony at the Fallsburg High School Auditorium.
A statement from the organizers said the location allows for
a more formal award ceremony, where each community can be recognized and
given an opportunity to speak briefly about its project.
The school auditorium is air-conditioned and has plenty of
parking.
Sullivan Renaissance 2003 projects are taking place in 31
communities throughout Sullivan County. They vary in size and scope. Projects
involve creating garden and park areas in Barryville, Tennanah Lake and Youngsville;
creating trailheads in Woodridge and Wurtsboro; and enhancing parks in Glen
Spey, Monticello and Narrowsburg.
The ceremony is scheduled from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. on Sunday,
August 10. Sullivan Renaissance is a joint program of Sullivan First and
the Beaverkill Foundation.
