The sweet taste of summer

By CHRIS CONROY

BETHEL, NY — Just across the street from where the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts will touch the horizon, the Gerry Foundation opened Sullivan County’s newest farmers’ market, the Bethel Summer Farmers’ Market, on July 5.

The market features only locally grown produce and goods. Since there are only twelve vendor spots open, the summer market is designed to be much smaller than its older sibling that takes place in the fall.

The Bethel Summer Farmers’ Market will take place every Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. across the street from the original Woodstock site on Hurd Road.
