The Mountain Laurel Center
to hold golf tournament

BUSHKILL, PA — The Mountain Laurel Center for the Performing Arts announces the Support the Arts golf tournament on Friday, June 27 at the Tamiment Resort.

Registration will be held between 9:00 and 10:30 a.m. and the tournament will begin at 11:00 a.m. The cost is $150 per player and includes greens fees, golf cart, golf clinics, practice range, a boxed gourmet lunch, beverages, a reception, live entertainment, two lawn tickets to a Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra performance and more surprises.

The $2,000 Platinum sponsorship includes four greens fees, tee and green signage, banner and special recognition on carts. At the $1,000 level, the gold sponsor includes two greens fees, green signage and special recognition on carts. The $750 silver sponsor includes one greens fee, green signage and special recognition on carts. Tee, green or bunker sponsorships are available for $200 and include signage on the course.

Soccer officials needed

JEFFERSONVILLE, NY — The Western Sullivan Board of soccer officials is looking for individuals interested in refereeing school soccer games for the fall season. An interest in soccer is required and experience in playing and/or coaching soccer is a plus. Free training classes are provided.

Classes begin on July 20 at 6:00 p.m. at the Jeffersonville-Youngsville campus of the Sullivan West Central Schools and will run for five consecutive Sundays. Classes will prepare candidates to take the written test for certification as New York State soccer officials.
