Sullivan honors best and brightest

MONTICELLO, NY — In their annual recognition ceremony, the Sullivan County Legislature introduced the valedictorians from 10 schools in eight school districts and presented each of them with certificates of commendation on June 19.

Valedictorians, pictured above, include Brendan Pantel of Fallsburg, Tim Billias, Casey Berson and Lauren Brinkerhoff of Monticello, Cheyenne Smith of Roscoe, Kayla Peters of Sullivan West-Delaware Valley, Jennifer Peters of Sullivan West-Jeffersonville, Heather Nober of Sullivan West-Narrowsburg and Colleen Carey of Tri-Valley.

Nikki Thiele of Eldred, Megan Baxter of Liberty and Brandy Maggio of Livingston Manor were unable to attend.
