Buddhist meditation masses starting in Liberty

LIBERTY, NY — Meditation has been used for centuries as a method for relieving stress, promoting health and well-being, and finding inner peace.

Join mediation teacher Colin Foote for a series of meditation classes starting June 17. Each class will include guided meditation and instruction. Everyone is welcome and no previous experience is required.

Colin Foote has been practicing Buddhist meditation for 25 years, and is currently a student on the Teacher Training Program at the Kadampa Meditation Center in Glen Spey, NY. He is a long-time Sullivan County resident and presents these ancient methods with heart and clarity.

The classes will be held on Tuesday evenings, 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at The Oracle Bookstore, 59 North Main Street, on June 17, 24, July 1, 8, 15 and 22.

For more information call the Kadampa Meditation Center at 845/856-9000, or visit www.kadampacenter.org.
