Veterans’ Memorial Park is dedicated

NARROWSBURG, NY — The Tusten Veterans’ Memorial Park was dedicated on Memorial Day.

Tusten Supervisor Richard Crandall has been deeply involved in the creation of the park, which is perched over the narrows of the Delaware River. It features a gazebo, two stone benches and a stone monument to the nation’s veterans.

Speakers at the dedication were Crandall, Sullivan County Legislator Christopher Cunningham, Rev. Tom Jones of St. Francis Xavier Church, Rev. Phyllis Haynes of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and Rev. Margaret Van Siclen of the United Methodist Church.
