Mt. Laurel postpones opening
BUSHKILL, PA — Officials of the Mountain Laurel Center for
the Performing Arts have postponed the scheduled June opening of The Boathouse
jazz and concert club.
Mountain Laurel president and CEO Chris Dunworth said the
decision was made to postpone until August.
“In order to ensure that all guests and members of the Mountain
Laurel Center have a truly pleasurable experience at this extraordinary arts
center, we have made the decision to postpone the performances until August.
While The Boathouse construction will be completed on schedule, we want to
make sure that our guests will have easily accessible parking and a perfect
first experience at the Mountain Laurel Center.”
June and July performances scheduled for The Boathouse will
be showcased at the nearby Fernwood Resort.
The August Boathouse opening is now scheduled to coincide
with the opening of the Tom Ridge Pavillion at the center.
