Brief heat wave a pleasant memory

RIVER VALLEY — Area residents took full advantage of last week’s mini-heat wave as temperatures soared in the 50’s for the first time this year.

One Hawley IGA shopper, a Mr. Tarant, of Tafton, PA, who would not reveal his first name, went right to the shorts and tee-shirt season on February 20.
