Fugitive captured

BARRYVILLE, NY — On January 25, Sullivan County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested one Richard I. Yahney, 33, of Barryville.

He was picked up at his Town of Highland residence. Yahney is accused of skipping out from a work release program in the state of Mississippi.

Yahney was arraigned before Highland Justice Anthony LaRuffa and remanded to the Sullivan County Jail without bail awaiting further court action.
