Rolling V Bus Corp. scholarship

SOUTH FALLSBURG, NY — The Livingston Manor School District announces the availability of a college scholarship for one of its graduating seniors. The scholarship is sponsored by the Rolling V Bus Corp. and is based on academic improvement over four years of high school. The scholarship entitles the winner to approximately $1,500 to be used towards his or her first year of college. This year’s scholarship will bring the total amount awarded to deserving seniors to over $15,000 since 1993. Phil Vallone, President of Rolling V Bus Corp., said that his company wishes to reward overall improvement during four full years of high school, not simply the student with the best grades. Phil Vallone, in discussing the renewal of the scholarship said, “A business that relies on the community for support owes it to that community to give something back from time to time. We feel fortunate to be able to offer this scholarship for the 10th consecutive year.”
