Citizens Bank and United Way providing toiletries for needy Pike families

PIKE COUNTY, PA —Citizen’s Bank of Pennsylvania branches in Milford and Matamoras have special stockings for filling.

People are invited to fill the stockings with toiletries to be given to local families in need.

“We began this program in Pike County last year, our first year of operation here, and it was such a success, we are doing it again this holiday season,” said Donna Satzger, Pike County branch manager.

United Way board member coordinator, Lee Oakes said, “When we were asked to find the families who would benefit most from the stocking gifts, we went right to work. With help from Christine Obser at the Pike County Office of Community Planning and Human Development, we’ve selected the families who will receive the gift stockings in time for the holidays.”

The bank is accepting toiletries at 407 West Harford Street in Milford and 7 Pennsylvania Avenue in Matamoras through December 15.
