Woman died of blunt force

ABRAHAMSVILLE — The Wayne County Coroner said that an autopsy revealed that the cause of Marilyn Phillips death was determined to be blunt force trauma to the head. The manner of her death remains undetermined.

Phillips body was found four miles from her home in Abrahamsville on Sunday, August 25.

Phillips was the co-owner with her husband, Randy Phillips, of the Callicoon Saloon in Callicoon. They lived on Robb Road.

Workmen who were clearing a wooded area for building lots when they found the body.
