Birdies for a cat scan

HANCOCK — The Auxiliary of the Grover M. Hermann Division of Catskill Regional Medical Center will hold its 3rd annual golf tournament on Saturday, June 8, at the French Woods Golf and Country Club on Route 97 in Hancock. The tournament will begin with a shotgun start at 10:00 a.m. Proceeds of the event help fund new equipment for the hospital.

The entry fee of $60 includes a breakfast buffet, greens and cart fees, refreshments on the greens and hors d’oeuvres after the tournament.

HIGHLAND —Players are welcome to join the 26th annual Lions Club Charity Golf Tournament, held at the Tarry Bray golf course in South Fallsburg on May 28, starting at 11:00 a.m. There is a buffet lunch, which starts at 11:00 a.m. and a shotgun tee off at 12:00 noon. Beverages are provided throughout the day. Foursomes, singles, men or women are welcome.

Cost is $60 per player and includes all fees, food, beverages and prizes. All proceeds are given to student scholarships.

Swim, bike and run!

WURTSBORO — The Tenth Annual Highland Triathlon, sponsored by the IGA G-Mart, will be held June 22, starting at 7:30 a.m.

The course includes: Swim one-half mile in Washington Lake in Yulan, bike 15 miles through the Town of Highland, and run four miles through Timber Lake Estates.
