Living Country Home has new location

By TOM KANE

HONESDALE — The home, garden and antique store with the country look has moved to a new location on Main Street in Honesdale.

The Living Country Home, owned and operated by Sandra Neil Wallace, can now be found at 817 Main Street across from the post office.

With the new location, the store is now expanded to 1,500 square feet.

The store specializes in antiques and home décor with a country flavor. There’s a shabby chic section, American farm homes section, garden furniture section and a Victorian section.

Specialty foods by Stonewall Kitchen Foods offers horseradish mustard, Maine maple mustard, roasted garlic peanut sauce, Vidalia onion fig sauce and assorted jellies.

Old farm tables, iron post beds and other farm curios line the walls.

“Someone called us an antique boutique and I think that’s right,” Neil Wallace said.

Store spring hours are: 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on weekdays and 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sundays. The store is closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Summer hours are: 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on weekdays and 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sundays. The store will be closed on Tuesdays.
