A well-deserved lunch

NARROWSBURG — After Saturday’s successful Litterpluck, organized by Narrowsburg Garden on the River and the Narrowsburg Chamber of Commerce, these young citizens enjoyed a well-earned lunch hosted by the Pastor Steve Knutsen and the United Methodist Church on Lake Street.

This is one of the many events being coordinated as part of the Narrowsburg’s entry in the Sullivan Renaissance Beautification contest. The next scheduled event is the Plant Swap on June 1 at the Sullivan West Library, Tusten-Cochecton Branch, beginning at 10:00 a.m.

The Garden of the River project this year centers around the building of a topiary in the shape of an eagle on the banks of the Upper Delaware River by the interstate bridge.
