LIBERTY —The new Glory To God Christian
High School has elected corporate officers, named
an interim principal and selected chairmen of its
six committees.
Land purchased earlier this year is
being cleared, and an architect will be designing
the building to house grades nine to 12. Actual construction
is scheduled to start as soon as plans are completed
and the official opening is slated for September 2003.
Warren Skuret of Callicoon is chairman,

and Edward Townsend of Livingston Manor is secretary.
The interim high school principal is
Pastor Rich Ienuso of Woodbourne.
The new Christian High School will
be located on Route 52 opposite the Liberty VFW hall.
The 4.3 acres of land will house the
new 40-foot by 80-foot steel structure high school
building with approximately 15 classrooms and a gymnasium,
which will also be used as an all-purpose room and
cafeteria.
Future construction will add a Christian
Center and crisis center.
Constructions costs are presently being
estimated at between $200,000 and $300,000. The new
high school will employ between seven and eight teachers
with salaries ranging from $18,000 and $27,000. Grades
nine to 12 will house between 80 and 100 students.

per student.
The school is expected to draw students
from several of the Christian elementary schools in
Sullivan County and from the 85 area Christian churches.
The new non-denominational Christian
