Gunther delivers

REGION — Assemblyman Jacob “Jake” Gunther met recently with Linda Barriger, Chairwoman of the Sullivan County Chapter of the American Red Cross in Greater New York Board of Directors, to discuss the $5,000 in legislative funding secured for the Sullivan Chapter. The money will be used to help support the chapter’s Family Safety Program.

The Red Cross is considered the largest humanitarian organization in the world. Locally, the Red Cross has more than 200 registered volunteers and has operated a chapter in Sullivan County since 1917.
