WESTFALL — Police last week arrested a Milford woman who was charged with stealing some $17,500 from her employer.

Kathleen Ferranti, 44, of Mil-Fab Inc. was said to have repeatedly written company checks and used company credit cards to pay personal debts.

The theft was discovered by the company owner.

Ferranti was charged with 14 felonies and 18 misdemeanors. She was arraigned before District Justice Charles Lieberman in Milford and released on $7,500 bail. Her preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 20.
