Arrest made in school bomb scare

JEFFERSONVILLE — According to Detective Don Starner, the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Department has made an arrest following a two-month investigation of several bomb scares at the Sullivan West Central School, Jeffersonville Campus.

A 14-year old youth was arrested on November 26 and charged with first-degree, falsely reporting an incident.

The youth was released to the custody of his parents and is scheduled to appear on November 29 before Sullivan County Probation Intake.
