Roscoe man charged with illegal deer kill

ROSCOE —State troopers confiscated an illegal buck that was shot with a .22 magnum during bow hunting season last week. Their November 14 investigation led to the arrest of Donald H. Klinger, 56, of Roscoe, for illegally taking deer with a gun during bow season in violation of the Environmental Conservation Law. The incident occurred on Huber Road in the Town of Rockland.

Klinger was arraigned in front of Town of Rockland Justice Harold Madison and paid $500 civil compromise. The deer was seized by police.
