Ian’s story: another grim tale of heroin addiction

[This is the third in a series on drug and alcohol abuse in Wayne County.]

LAKE ARIEL — The worse thing that could possibly happen to a mother, happened to Jerry Prussia—her heroin-addicted son committed suicide.

At least that was the assessment of the state police when they came to the lakeshore home of Jerry and her husband Joe, and saw their son with a bullet wound in his head.
