Dip into the Paint Pot

LAKE HUNTINGTON — Victoria Velez, pictured above, is paints a ceramic bird in the newly opened Paint Pot shop. She was joined by nearly a dozen other enthusiastic ceramics painters. Organizer Robert DeMan of Cochecton, who learned his ceramics skills in the U.S. Army, wants to give kids and adults something to do during the summer. For $3, participants can spend several hours at his shop on the shores of Lake Huntington, next to the Nutshell. For more information call DeMan at 845/252-7208.
