Schultz
is interim as NPS changes guard
NARROWSBURG — Acting Upper Delaware Superintendent
Sandra Schultz, right, and Delaware River Basin Commission Executive
Director Carol Collier are pictured at last week’s Upper Delaware
Council meeting, where Schultz announced that park Superintendent
Calvin Hite has now been named superintendent of the New River National
River in West Virginia.
Schultz said she has applied for a one-year interim
Upper Delaware superintendent position, which Hite’s departure created.
Hite served some five years, as the Upper Delaware’s
second park superintendent, initially coming as an interim as well,
following the 1995 retirement of John Hutzky.
