The circus of transformation

HURLEYVILLE — Welcome yourself into the most challenging and creative adventure of your life as you learn about conscious living on July 13, 14 and 15 at the Universal Center Lodge. The journey begins on Friday at 9:00 a.m. and ends at sunset on Sunday.

The Circus of Transformation utilizes yoga, meditation, bodywork, psychological astrology, sculpting, painting, theater, provocative mask making, ecstatic poetry and dance as a way to break through limiting patterns of thinking, feeling and taking action in the world.

The journey is led by three instructors with more than 30 years combined teaching experience. Enrollment for this threeday adventure is limited to 14.

Planning for the future

LIBERTY — Liberty Central School District has formed a Buildings and Grounds Committee to review the existing conditions of its facilities and to plan for its future. The district is encouraging those community members including parents, students and business leaders, who would like to participate, to attend the next committee meeting on Thursday, July 12 at 6:30 p.m. in the high school library.

Community members are being encouraged to join one of the several subcommittees that have been formed under the Buildings and Grounds Committee. Available subcommittees include: Marketing and Public Relations, Government Relations and Demographic Projections, Finance, Safety and Security, Existing Physical Environment Evaluation, Curriculum Needs and Spatial Evaluation, Location and Transportation, Technology and Maintenance.
