Tusten Republicans
name candidates

TUSTEN — The Tusten Republican Party announced
its slate of candidates last week for November elections.
They are: supervisor, two-year term: incumbent
Richard Crandall town council, four-year term: incumbent Charles
Knapp highway superintendent, four-year term: incumbent Nathaniel
“Skip” Faegles justice, four-year term: incumbent Alfred Smith justice,
unexpired two-year term: incumbent Thomas Nuttycombe town clerk,
two-year term: incumbent Carol Wingert.
Each candidate must collect a petition of signatures
from five percent of registered Republicans before his or her name
is included on the ballot, usually about 60 signatures.
Petitions must be submitted to the county board
of elections by July 12.
