Sewer reconstruction is on schedule

LAKE HUNTINGTON — Town of Cochecton Board members were happy to hear, at a March 14 meeting, that the reconstruction of the sewer plant and the replacement of a pipe line were progressing on schedule, according to Supervisor Sal Indelicato.

The sewer will serve Sullivan West School District’s new high school. Groundbreaking for the school is expected to take place in a few weeks, said Sullivan West’s Superintendent Michael Johndrow.

“The sewer district will be ready,” said Indelicato.
