Cold moon, man

The Honesdale Annual Winter Festival, held this past weekend, produced this and many other ice sculptures along Main Street. The largest of the sculptures—made from a conglomerate of ice blocks weighing 3,000 pounds—was at the Fred Miller Pavilion on Main Street. Winter games for children were held, and residents ice skated for free in Central Park. Many merchants held special sales.

The festival was sponsored by the Honesdale Business Association, the Wayne County Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Honesdale Partnership.
