| No
cell towers for Shohola
By KRISTA GROMALSKI
SHOHOLA - In
a ten-minute meeting on October 19, the Shohola Township Board of
Supervisors said no to Princeton Towers' requests for conditional
use and land development permits for two proposed cell towers.
No discussion
was heard on the denial of all seven of Princeton's' requests for
the sites at Shohola Falls and German Hill Road.
Township Solicitor
Edwin Abrahamsen, within 15 days of the decision, will issue a written
statement of the reasons for denial, said Chairman George Fluhr.
Denise Archer
of Princeton Towers was present for last week's decision on the
applications, but made no public comment.
Jerry Gilroy,
one of the handful of residents in attendance, said he is pleased
with the decision. Gilroy is not against cell towers, he said, but
is opposed to Princeton's proposed locations.
