PITTSTON -- The Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency has issued information regarding the availability of 2001 Penn Homes Program Funds.

Penn Homes Program Funds include Federal Home Program Funds and Agency funds and may be utilized for the construction and permanent financing of multi-family rental housing developments located in the PA containing five or more units.

Reservations for 2001 Penn Homes Funds will be in two funding cycles. Application deadlines are December 15, 2000 with reservations of funds anticipated to be made in May 2001, and May 1, 2001 with reservations of funds anticipated to be made in September 2001. The cycles will coincide with the application for the Federal Low Income Housing Tax Credit Program.

A pre-application workshop will be held on Tuesday, October 10 in the Scranton area with registration for the workshop at $10 per person.
