Formal planning sessions for the project began May 4, as Shepstone, a Honesdale planner joined with the Virginia-based, Heritage Resource Group and announced a year-long series of work sessions and deadlines leading to the committee's creation of a management plan for submission to New York State Department of Transportation officials, who will decide on the Route 97 nomination.
