Arraignment postponed for basketball player accused of assault

TUSTEN — Town of Tusten Justice Ralph Heubner has postponed the arraignment of Ian Detch, a Delaware Valley basketball player who is accused of assaulting Narrowsburg player Bruce Nober during a game between the two teams three weeks ago.

Detch, a senior, was charged with a misdemeanor.

The new date for the arraignment is Friday, May 5 at 10:30 a.m. in the Tusten Court.

Detch’s attorney, Henri Shawn, would not comment on questions about the case.
