The Alzheimer’s Association estimates that worldwide, nearly 44 million people have Alzheimer’s or a related dementia. Dementia is most common in Western Europe and North America. In the United States, one in nine individuals over the age of 65 have a chronic dementia condition.
No one believes me when I say that I’m lazy. Nonetheless, it’s true. I am loath to spend more time on something than need be. Additionally, if I can reutilize something, well, now you’ve got my attention.
New Year’s resolutions are commitments we make to our self. While there is some magic to the New Year, being successful with a resolution takes more than midnight magic. To fulfill a resolution we need to challenge our self. We need to take on the job of reworking how we work.
We crave change. The media feeds us promises of being slimmer, younger, happier, richer, if only we buy this product, follow that program. Through many trials we have learned that change does not come easily. What blocks us from changing? What helps us to change?
