LOCH SHELDRAKE, NY — Catskill Regional Medical Center will hold a Sullivan Wellness Coordinator Training on Friday, April 7 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 5 New Hope Community Dr. The training is a collaborative effort among Catskill Regional Medical Center and the American Heart Association, Cancer Services Program, Cornell Cooperative Extension, Eat Smart New York, Health Link, Sullivan County Public Health and Sullivan 180 to provide education, information and inspiration to all participants who wish to provide worksite wellness programs and support to their business, school or organization in Sullivan County.
The training will feature speakers from state and local offices that specialize in advocacy, stakeholder engagement, wellness committee development, health policy implementation and turn-key worksite wellness programs. The training will include three Sullivan County success stories, and the afternoon highlight will be a speed-networking session with approximately six of our county’s worksite wellness programs that are ready to assist local businesses and schools in creating a culture of health.
Pre-registration is required. The registration cost of $10 covers a healthy lunch. For more information email sullivan@cornell.edu or call 845-292-6180. To register online, visit www.sullivancce.org.
