Sullivan County Celebrity Dinner breaks all records

Boys and Girls Club Executive Director Alexis Eggleton

March 13, 2013

CALLICOON, NY — Forty local celebrities put on a really big show last Friday at the Villa Roma Resort and Conference Center, waiting on tables and providing entertainment to more than 350 paying guests at the annual Sullivan County Celebrity Dinner to benefit the Boys and Girls Clubs of Sullivan County. This year’s theme was “Music from Your Youth.”

The room was filled with star power as teams of costumed servers impersonated musical personalities including rock band KISS, Simon and Garfunkel, Elvis, The Blues Brothers, Ike and Tina Turner, Zee Zee Top, Elvis, Liza Minnelli, The Beatles and Steven Tyler, to name but a few.

Honorary event chairman Greg Goldstein acted as master of ceremonies for the third straight year, lampooning the entertainers and working the dinner guests into a frenzy of donations that resulted in a record-breaking evening, taking in at least $44,000.
