Eddy L. Ahnstrom

Eddy L. Ahnstrom of Callicoon, NY, a handyman and lifetime resident of the area, died Monday, August 19, 2013 at Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris, NY. He was 54.

There are no calling hours. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 7, at the Jeffersonville Lutheran Cemetery, Jeffersonville.

Richard C. Aidala of Matamoras, PA, passed away at home in the arms of his wife, with his loving daughters at his side.

Prayers were offered Thursday, August 22 at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, Inc., 154 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph’s R.C. Church, Matamoras. Rev. James Walsh was the celebrant. Interment followed at Milford Cemetery, Milford.

Keith M. Hinkley

Keith M. Hinkley, lifelong resident of Nicholson, PA, died peacefully Sunday evening, August 18, 2013 at Select Specialty LTACH at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. He was 81.

Memorial services were held at the Nicholson Presbyterian Church on Friday, August 23. Private interment will be held at a later date in Nicholson Cemetery.

Memorial donations can be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.

Francis E. “Huggie” Huggins

Francis E. “Huggie” Huggins of Jeffersonville, NY, a lifetime resident and owner of Huggins Sales & Service in Jeffersonville, died Thursday, August 22, 2013 at Catskill Regional Medical Center, Callicoon. He was 77.

Funeral services were held on Sunday, August 25 at Stewart-Murphy Funeral Home, Jeffersonville, NY.

Steven J. Kapczak

Steven J. Kapczak of Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY died unexpectedly on Thursday, August 22, 2013 at St. Lukes Cornwall Hospital, Cornwall, NY. He was 51.

A Panachyda Service was held on Monday, August 26. at the Gray-Parker Funeral Home, 100 E. Main St., Port Jervis. A liturgy mass was celebrated on Tuesday, August 27 in St. Volodymyr’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, 2104 County Route 41, Glen Spey, NY 12737. Burial took place at Glen Spey Cemetery, Glen Spey.

Robert “Bob” Rossal

Robert “Bob” Rossal, a lifelong resident of Bethel, NY, passed away on Friday, August 23, 2013 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was 94.

Funeral services were held on Monday, August 26 at Ramsay’s Funeral Home; Rev. Paul Hagedorn officiated. Burial was at Evergreen Cemetery, Bethel, NY.

Paul B. Mikulak Jr.

Paul B. Mikulak Jr. of Cherry Ridge Twp., Honesdale, PA owner of Honesdale Fire Equipment, died Saturday, August 24, 2013 at Scranton Regional Medical Center. He was 58.

At Paul’s request there will be no calling hours.

A memorial mass will be offered on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at St. John the Evangelist Church, 414 Church St., Honesdale, PA at 10 a.m. Interment will take place in the family plot in the Indian Orchard Cemetery Honesdale.
