Wilma Anne Diehl

Wilma Anne Diehl of Beach Lake, PA went home to be with the Lord on May 19, 2013, after an illness. She was 84.

There will be a memorial service at New Covenant Fellowship on June 1 at 1 p.m. with a time to pay respects beginning at noon. The Reverend Robert Nurnberger will officiate.

Wilma also leaves behind her beloved dog, Petey, who was the joy of her life and her constant companion. So, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dessin Animal Shelter, or the charity of your choice.

William J. Flieger

Mr. William J. Flieger of Cuddebackville, NY, died Friday, May 17, 2013, at St. Joseph’s Place in Port Jervis. He was 96.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 1, 2013 at 1 p.m. at the Cuddebackville Reformed Church, 1064 US Route 209, Cuddebackville, NY. Cremation will be at MacLennan Hall Crematorium, Milford, PA.

Paul W. Hook

Paul W. Hook of Cochecton, NY and formerly of Honesdale, PA died on Sunday, May 19, 2013 at Ellen Memorial Health Care Center. He was 83.

As per his request cremation was held at Maple Hill at Salem Crematory.

A Blessing Service will be held on Thursday, May 23 at 10 a.m. at Hessling Funeral Home, Inc., 428 Main St. Honesdale. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Honesdale.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association.

Shirley Persten

Shirley Persten of Woodridge, NY passed away at the Roscoe Regional Rehab facility on May 15, 2013. She was 87.

Graveside services were held Friday, May 17 at the Workmen’s Circle Cemetery on Marsh Road in Glenwild, NY.
