Peter Joseph Kreiter, lifelong resident of Monticello, NY died on Sunday, May 5, 2013. He was 57.

Services were held at the VanInwegen-Kenny, Inc. Funeral Home, 401 Broadway in Monticello on Tuesday, May 7. His funeral mass was held at St. Peter’s Church, Broadway and Liberty Street in Monticello on Wednesday morning, May 8. Burial took place at St. Peter’s Cemetery on Rock Ridge Drive in Monticello.

Memorial contributions in Peter’s honor can be made to the Federation for the Homeless, 9 Monticello St., Monticello, NY 12701.

Billy C. Scott

Billy C. Scott of Hawley, PA, died Wednesday, May 1, 2013 in the Julia Ribaudo Nursing Home, Lake Ariel, PA. He was 80.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.

William M. “Bill” VanSickle

William M. “Bill” VanSickle of South Canaan, PA died Friday, May 3, 2013 at Regional Hospital of Scranton after an illness. He was 74.

The funeral was held Wednesday at the Jenkins Funeral Home, 269 Belmont St. Waymart, officiated by the Rev. William Rushik, pastor of the South Canaan Free Methodist Church. Interment was in East Canaan Cemetery.

Joseph Vena

Joseph Vena of Cochecton, NY a retired U.S. Army Military Police Sergeant died Tuesday, April 30, 2013. He was 98.

Services and interment in the Sullivan County Veterans Cemetery will take place at a later date.
