Arnold David Friedman of Monroe, NY entered into a peaceful rest surrounded by his loving family on Friday, February 8, 2013 at Orange Regional Medical Center after a long courageous battle with cancer.

A funeral mass will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at St. Anastasia Parish Church, Route 17M, Harriman. Interment will follow in St. Anastasia Cemetery in Harriman.

Jeff Hogan of Middletown, NY died unexpectedly at ORMC on Saturday, February 9, 2013. He was 53.

Visitation hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at Applebee-McPhillips Funeral Home, Inc, 130 Highland Ave., Middletown, NY 10940. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 15, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Church, 149 Cottage St., Middletown. Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.

Herbert E. “Herb” Secker

Herbert E. “Herb” Secker of Westbrookville, NY and a long-time resident of the area passed away Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Belle Reve in Milford, PA. He was 88.

Cremation will be at H.G. Smith Crematory in Stroudsburg, PA followed by a burial of cremains in the Westbrookville Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
