Honesdale Police investigated a two car crash in the 800 block of Main St, Monday, July 18.

Faith Collins, 18, of Beach Lake, PA was driving southbound on Main St. in the left lane, when she proceeded to turn into the right lane; her vehicle struck the front driver side of an 2012 Jeep SUV, owned by Arnold Crum, 85, of Milanville, PA.

Honesdale EMS assisted at the scene. Megan Robertson, 19, of Honesdale, PA, was a passenger of Collins’. She reported a minor head injury, but declined medical attention. Robertson was not wearing a seatbelt.

Crum was going south in the right lane after having just exiting a parking space on the right side of Main St.

Crum’s vehicle hit a parked vehicle on the right side of the road as a result of being struck by Collins. The parked vehicle that was struck left the scene of the crash.

If anyone may have witnessed the crash or know the identity of the owner of the parked car that was struck to contact Police at 570-253-1900.
