July 28 and inmate at Wayne County Correctional Facility attempted to escape by bypassing interior security doors. Correctional Offices apprehended him when the inmate tried to escape through the doors.

The inmate has been charged with one count of Escape, a misdemeanor of the second degree. Following his arraignment in front of Magisterial District Judge Farrell, the inmate was recommitted to the Wayne County Correctional Facility on $5,000 dollars bail.
