Vera M. DeFazio, age 87, of Port Jervis, NY passed away Saturday, July 28, 2012 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Suffern, NY.
Private graveside services will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Port Jervis.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Port Jervis-Deerpark Humane Society, Rte. 209, Port Jervis, NY 12771.

JOHN ‘JERRY’ HECTOR
John “Jerry” Hector, a lifelong resident of the area, passed away on Friday July 27, 2012 at Catskill Regional Medical Center, Harris, NY. He was 81.
Jerry was the owner-operator of Hector’s Inn in Bethel, NY.
Friends may call on Tuesday, July 31 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Ramsay’s Funeral Home, 3534 Route 55, Kauneonga Lake, NY. The Sgt. Andrew Brucher VFW Post # 5499 will conduct services at the funeral home at 7:30 p.m.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday August 1 at Ramsay’s Funeral Home at 2 p.m.
Cremation will take place at Cedar Hill Crematory, Middle Hope, NY.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.

FRANKLIN E. ‘COACH’ GIBSON
Franklin E. “Coach” Gibson of Livingston Manor, NY, passed away on Monday, July 23, 2012 at Catskill Regional Medical Center. He was 71.
Visitation was on Thursday, July 26, 2012 at Herbert C. Bryant Funeral Home, Livingston Manor. There was a Masonic and Order of Eastern Star services beginning at 7 p.m. The funeral service was held on Friday, July 27 at the funeral home.

ELFRIEDE MEYERS
Elfriede Meyers of Hortonville, NY, a former seamstress for NOVA Sportswear in Callicoon and a homemaker, died Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at the Sullivan County Adult Care Center Liberty. She was 90.
The Funeral Service was held on Monday, July 30, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Hortonville Presbyterian Church, with the Reverend Pam Allen officiating.
Burial was in the Hortonville Cemetery, Hortonville, NY.
