DYBERRY TOWNSHIP, PA — This once-in-a-lifetime shot of a passing jetliner, silhouetted against a waxing gibbous moon, was captured by Dave Soete on April 4 when he just happened to be out taking photographs of the moon. The April full moon, which occurred two days later, is known as the Full Pink Moon, because it heralds the appearance of the moss pink, or wild ground phlox. It is also known as the Sprouting Grass Moon, the Egg Moon and the Fish Moon.
