Three arrested in Liberty for drugs

Village of Liberty Police arrested three people on March 16th, 2015 after an investigation into a firearm being brandished from a a vehicle at two individuals on Main Street in the evening hours. Police investigation resulted in locating the vehicle involved a short time later on North Main Street. Subsequent investigation resulted in locating approximately 5 grams of cocaine packaged for sale and a small amount of marihuana inside the vehicle.

Arrested on scene was:

Earl Ivory, 39 of Liberty charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd with intent to sell and criminal possession of a controlled substance 4th, felonies and unlawful possession of marihuana a violation.

Jamie Edwards , 25 of Hurleyville charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd with intent to sell and criminal possession of a controlled substance 4th both felonies.

Charles Crespo Jr., 23 of Parksville charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd with intent to sell and criminal possession of a controlled substance 4th both felonies.

All three subjects were arraigned in the Town of Liberty Court and are due back at a later date. The investigation into the brandishing of the firearm remains ongoing.
