Janine Edwards, Wayne County District Attorney, announced that David Scott Teeter was found guilty today January 14 by a Wayne County Jury of one count of Rape-Complainant less than 13 years old, Felony 1 and one count of Rape of a Child, Felony 1.

The jury also found the Defendant guilty of Endangering the Welfare of a Child as a Parent, graded as a Felony 3. The Court ordered sentencing of the Defendant for April 16, 2015 and a Sexually Violent Offenders Assessment. The Defendant now faces a sentence of up to Sixty Seven (67) years in prison.

The District Attorney stated: “A serial pedophile was convicted today thanks to two brave young women who stood up and told the Pennsylvania State Police and then the Wayne County Jury what horrible acts were done to them by this man. I am very pleased that this case resulted in a jury conviction of Felony Rape charges and will seek the harshest sentence possible from this Court for this defendant. Asst. D.A. Rothenberg handled herself with professionalism and dedication to get justice in this case and Trooper John Decker of the Pennsylvania State Police worked tirelessly to ensure a proper and accurate investigation.”
