Pike County District Attorney Raymond J. Tonkin announced that three individuals have been sentenced to state prison for drug dealing and related charges by Pike County Court of Common Pleas Judge Gregory Chelak. All three individuals were arrested by investigators from the Pike County District Attorney’s Office after investigations into heroin trafficking.
Jessica Virginia Rombousek-Jacobs, age 37, of Matamoras, PA, was sentenced to 4 years to 8 years in a state correctional facility and fined $11,000.00 for the crimes of Burglary and Delivery of a Controlled or Counterfeit Substance. On November 19, 2012, Rombousek-Jacobs was an accomplice to a burglary at a residence in Milford Township where a piece of jewelry was stolen. In Dingman Township on October 8th, 17th and 24th of 2013, Rombousek-Jacobs sold in excess of 5 grams of heroin to an undercover officer.
Rombousek-Jacobs was originally charged with heroin trafficking in October of last year, after she had sold heroin to an undercover officer. Her co-defendant Edwin Quiles still awaits trial in the Pike County Court of Common Pleas.
Ernest Broadwell, age 54, of Milford, PA, was sentenced to 3 years to 7 years at a state correctional facility and fined $6,500.00 for the crimes of Possession With Intent to Manufacture or Deliver a Controlled or Counterfeit Substance and Delivery of a Controlled or Counterfeit Substance (3 counts). Between April 15, 2014 and April 30, 2014, Broadwell sold 57 packets of heroin in Dingman Township. On May 1, 2014, at a residence in Dingman Township, Broadwell was found in possession of 187 glassine packets of heroin.
Forest Decker, age 20, of Milford, PA, was sentenced to 18 months to 36 months in a state correctional facility and fined $1,500.00 for the crimes of Criminal Conspiracy (2 counts) and Criminal Use of a Communication Facility. Between April 15, 2014 and May 1, 2014, at several locations in Dingman Township, Forest Decker and Ernest Broadwell, through the use of a cellular telephone, arranged for the sale of heroin to a confidential informant.
Broadwell and Decker were originally charged in May of this year by investigators from the Pike County District Attorney’s Office. As part of the investigation, the Pike County Detective Bureau obtained a search warrant for a residence at 102 Garfield Court. Detectives also obtained a search warrant for a vehicle used to distribute heroin, where heroin ready for distribution was found.
