Narrowsburg brothers arrested

On Sunday evening, October 19, 2014 State Police at Liberty were called to a disturbance at a residence in the Town of Lumberland. Upon arrival, Troopers learned from the occupants that two men had forced their way into the home, displayed and threatened the use of a firearm and assaulted one of the occupants. One occupant sustained minor injuries.

State Police located and arrested Steven Campfield, age 52 and Tommie Campfield, age 48, both of Narrowsburg. Both were charged with Burglary 1st Degree. Tommie Cambell was additionally charged with Criminal Use of a Firearm 1st Degree and Menacing 2nd Degree. Steven Campbell was additionally charged with Assault 3rd Degree. Both were arraigned in the Town of Thompson Court and remanded to the Sullivan County Jail in lieu of $75,000 cash bail.
