The New York State Police in Middletown announce the arrest of two New York City men after the investigation of a shooting near the Otisville Metro-North Railroad station on October 9, 2014.

Troopers arrested Jerome A. Mack, age 35, and Edgar Wilson, age 35, on West 97th Street in Manhattan at approximately 5:00 PM. Both men were transported to the State Police barracks in Middletown, where they were charged with Attempted Murder in the Second Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree.

Both men are accused of shooting a 33 year-old New York City man minutes after his release from Otisville State Correctional Facility where he finished a fifteen-year sentence for assault.

Mack and Wilson were arraigned before Mount Hope Town Justice John Goldsmith, and committed to Orange County Jail without bail pending a hearing scheduled for Wednesday, October 15, 2014.
