Monticello Police arrested Glenden Reynolds (22) of Monticello on Thursday 7/17/14. Reynolds was arrested as a result of an ongoing investigation into a burglary of the Monticello Liquors Store located on Pleasant Street in the Village of Monticello.
The burglary occurred on 5/23/14 at 3:30 AM. Reynolds while acting in concert with several other individuals broke into the store through a side window and then stole over $1500.00 in merchandise.
Reynolds was arraigned in the Village of Monticello justice court and remanded to the Sullivan county jail on $15,000.00 pending further court action. One other defendant, Daquan Smith (22) of Monticello was already arrested on 5/27/14 in the investigation and additional suspects are still being sought.
Reynolds was charged with felonies for Burglary in the 3rd degree, Grand Larceny in the 4th degree and Criminal Mischief in the 3rd degree.
