James McCabe, 45, of Honesdale, was sentenced to pay the costs of prosecution, pay a fine in the amount of $300, and be placed on probation for a period of 18 months. McCabe previously pleaded guilty to one count of retail theft, graded as a misdemeanor of the 2nd degree. The incident occurred on Nov. 16, 2013 in Honesdale. McCabe was arrested by the Honesdale Borough Police.

Cody Capasso, 21, of Hawley, was sentenced to pay the costs of prosecution, pay a fine in the amount of $300, and be placed on probation for a period of 18 months. Capasso previously pleaded guilty to one count of carrying a firearm without a license, graded as a misdemeanor of the 1st degree. The incident occurred on Mar. 21, 2014 in Hawley. Capasso was arrested by the Hawley Borough Police.

Kimberly A. Gillette, 53, of Dickson City, was sentenced to pay costs of prosecution, pay a fine of $3,000, and undergo imprisonment for a period not less than 14 months nor more than 5 years. Gillette previously pleaded guilty to one count of DUI, one count of fleeing or attempting to elude police, and one county of driving with a suspended license. The incident occurred on Mar. 29, 2014 in Lehigh Township. Gillette was arrested by the Lehigh Township Police. Gillette’s BAC was a .244%.

George T. Hofmann, 55, of White Mills, was sentenced to pay costs of prosecution, pay a fine in the amount of $500, be placed on probation for a period of 12 months, and pay restitution in the amount of $5,025. Hofmann previously pleaded guilty to one count of simple assault, graded as a misdemeanor of the 2nd degree. The incident occurred on Dec. 18, 2013 in Berlin Township. Hofmann was arrested by the Pennsylvania State Police.

Sunny Sorenson, 46, of Newfoundland, was sentenced to pay costs of prosecution, undergo imprisonment for a period of not less than 5 days nor more than 18 months, and pay restitution in the amount of $811.76. Sorenson previously pleaded guilty to one count of recklessly endangering another person, graded as a misdemeanor of the 2nd degree. The incident occurred on Dec. 25, 2013 in Sterling. Sorenson was arrested by the Pennsylvania State Police.

Brittany A. Williams, 21, of Childs, was sentenced to pay costs of prosecution and pay a fine of $200. Williams previously pleaded guilty to one count of theft by unlawful taking and one count of disorderly conduct. The incident occurred on Nov. 10, 2013 in Waymart. Williams was arrested by the Waymart Borough Police.
