Arizona man arrested in Wayne County

According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Honesdale, an Arizona man has been arrested for burglary and stealing a car.

An investigation into stolen property on O'Connell Road in Canaan Township led to information implicating Michael Delany, 34, in connection with six burglaries and one theft of a motor vehicle in Wayne County.

Delaney, who is from San Tan Valley, AZ, is under investigation for additional crimes on Lackawanna and Susquehanna counties.

Delaney was charged with six couts of burglary, six counts of criminal trespass, and theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property, all felonies.

The combined loss to victims is approximately $40,000. Delaney was arraigned before MDJ Bonnie Carney and incarcerated in Wayne County Prison in lieu of $25,000 bail.
